Privacy Policy.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Synora Ventures ("Synora", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website or use our applications. It also describes the rights you have over your data and how to exercise them. We process data lawfully, fairly and transparently, and only for the purposes set out below.

2. What data we collect

We collect only what we need to run and improve our products, and where required, only with your consent:

  • In-app behaviour — the features you use and actions you take inside our apps, so we can understand what works and what to improve.
  • Preferences — settings and choices you make, so the product behaves the way you expect across sessions.
  • Session metadata — basic technical details such as device type, approximate session timing and diagnostic information needed to keep the service secure and reliable.

3. What we never collect without explicit consent

The following categories are sensitive. We do not access or collect them unless you give us clear, specific and informed consent first:

  • Precise location
  • Contacts
  • Health data

4. Third-party AI processing

Our products are AI-native, so some content you provide may be sent to third-party AI model providers — including OpenAI and Anthropic — solely to generate the output you have requested. We disclose this processing clearly and have Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) in place with these providers. Data sent for AI processing is not used to train these providers' public models where their terms allow us to opt out, and we configure our integrations to do so.

5. Where your data is stored

Personal data is stored on infrastructure located within the European Union — primarily in Germany and Ireland. Where data must be transferred outside the EU (for example, to an AI provider), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect it.

6. Your rights

You have rights over your personal data, including:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@synora.ventures. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

7. Cookies & analytics

We use a small number of cookies and privacy-conscious product analytics (PostHog) to understand how our website and apps are used and to improve them. Where required, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

8. Children

Our products are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
